Sponsors of the program are: Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce, Union University, Lambuth University and Lane College.

Students participate in a two day Opening Retreat in August and then meet monthly through March for a one day session. Because of the generosity of the sponsors, students only cost is two hours of community service each month of the program. The program tries to create an interactive environment for constructive leadership, committed involvement and responsible participation in the community - now and in the future.
