Community Involvement

Inspiring servant leadership and encouraging community trusteeship

Changing the Jackson Community

Leadership Jackson class members are highly involved in the Jackson community throughout their participation in the program. This community involvement serves as a catalyst for long lasting community service well past the constraints of the LJ program.

While Leadership Jackson participants serve throughout the Jackson community, there are a number of specific programs and projects that Leadership Jackson leads each year.

Does your event need community volunteers? If so, request Leadership Jackson volunteers by filling out the form below!

LJ Impact Run

The 2010 class of Leadership Jackson initiated a 5k Glow Run to benefit local non-profits. This 5k run is now an annual event facilitated by the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association to benefit the Judy Renshaw Leadership Jackson Alumni Association Scholarship.

The Impact Glow Run is held in the fall of each year. For more information, click here.

Judy Renshaw Leadership Jackson Alumni Association Scholarship

Judy Renshaw guided and served Leadership Jackson and The Jackson Chamber for 40 years. Upon her retirement, the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association named the Judy Renshaw Leadership Jackson Alumni Association Scholarship in her honor in 2014.

To date, $35,000 has been given to this scholarship fund by LJ Alumni Association members.

The Judy Renshaw Leadership Jackson Alumni Association Scholarship is open to current Madison County Tennessee high school senior planning to attend college in the fall after graduating.
